Development of technologies
In this post, I would like to address some interesting questions about technology that you may have wondered about. Technology is an integral part of our lives, and if you think about it, it can often be beneficial, but sometimes harmful, depending on how you use it.
Here I have covered the following points:
- Technology and laziness
- The benefits of technologies
- What does the Bible says about technologies?
- When technologies are used against people
- Artificial Intelligence – problems and challenges
1. Technology and laziness
Some people think that laziness is spreading with the development of technology. According to my observations, laziness is usually the result of a human choice, for example, between work and idleness. Technology should not be blamed for the fact that modern man chooses to be lazy. Technology has actually changed the life of society in many ways, and improved it. Let's analyze what humanity has gained thanks to the development of technology.
First of all, what I would like to draw attention to is that technology is a reminder of human dignity. A person is not forced to work hard, exhaustingly, if this can be avoided at the expense of technology.
You can fulfill God's will through thinking, inventions and work, thereby improving human life.
Where did technology come from? From human creativity, ingenuity. God created man in His own image and likeness (Genesis 1:26-28), so God made man creative because He is creative. This means that you are a reflection of God, to one degree or another. The Lord appointed man to subdue the earth, to have dominion over the plant and animal world. "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it..." (Genesis 1:28). Today, there are many technologies that people have invented to solve everyday problems and routine tasks with their help.
