Hello! My name is Andrii. My blog and sections of this site with scientific and historical resources are dedicated to helping you discover God in all His manifestations and characteristics.

I am currently 29, I am also a military man. I do web development in my life, which is also my hobby. I have a higher education. I am fond of music (play the guitar), reading books, skiing and tourism.

My spiritual path in life began with reading the Bible when I completed my first year studying in the university. My discovery was that it is possible to get to know God for yourself precisely through His revelation – the Holy Scripture, and various Christian literature and research showed me that the Holy Scriptures (as well as the Bible) should be taken seriously. This is actually one of the reasons why the logo of this site is called “Dive into the Word of God”.

Although I was introduced to the Bible earlier, I consider myself a Christian since my last years as a student, when I began to change under the influence of God's Word and God's action in my life. Therefore, my intention is to try to show readers that Christianity is not just an idea or a human invention, but a way of life that pleases God, and a blessed life that will last into eternity, and the Bible as a collection of 66 books is justified by numerous historical sources with scientifically based facts.

You may use my articles that interest you for self reflection and joint discussions. 🙂

I am sure that each person is like a separate interesting book, where inspiring events, life episodes, sometimes similar to other people's stories, are intertwined. Each of us is unique, has our own abilities, vocations, views on life and spiritual content.

Probably, if you came to this page, you are interested in learning more about the author than just dry facts – in particular, what prompted me to create a blog and other columns.

I am only 30, and I understand that the book of your life may be deeper or richer than mine, although it is still being written. Each of us has an interweaving of plots, bright and dramatic episodes. Some of them are painful or personal, others are warm and unique. And in order to convey a holistic picture, I want to tell this story from the very beginning.

My book is still being written. It has a lot in common with the stories of my peers, but there is also something that started the most important thing that changed and continues to change my life. Therefore, I will briefly share it.

When I was a freshman, I carried with me many questions and doubts. I tried to reach a certain “bar” – to become the person I saw myself in my dreams. But despite my efforts, it seemed close, but unattainable. Often this meant being like one of my idols, not myself. Idols changed, turned out to be imperfect, and this only added to the disappointment.

I seemed to be wandering, without a clear life path that would give stability and fulfillment. Like everyone else, I wanted to feel my worth, be useful, and do good. But without an inner source, this is impossible. I was looking for something permanent to rely on – a path that would not lead to emptiness or disappointment.

I was not alone in this search. My friends also asked similar questions, sometimes even more courageously than me.

All this happened against the background of important events. In the winter of 2014, the Revolution of Dignity began, and later – the war. The concepts of freedom, dignity, justice became especially tangible.

After the school year, I suddenly felt freedom – the one I dreamed of. But with it came emptiness. It would seem that there were many new experiences, people, achievements, but inside the same uncertainty remained. Everything I tried to fill my life with, even successes, led to this state again.

I realized that achievements and self-development do not guarantee inner integrity. The constant pursuit is exhausting and often forces you to live by values far from real ones.

It was then that something important began. I accepted that my idea of the future had flaws. Even the best plan will not fill life with meaning if there is nothing more behind it.

I began to realize: meaning, calling, self-knowledge are not achieved by reason or willpower alone. A support is needed – something unchanging.

So I began to think about God and eternity. At a certain point, a desire arose to read the Bible. I began to do it in silence, thoughtfully, feeling a special respect for what was written. At that time, I did not understand everything, but it was a beginning.

The changes were not instantaneous. But over time, more happened. I met Christians who did not just talk about faith, but lived it. This made a strong impression. I began to observe how faith changes people.

Gradually, my values, priorities, and views also changed. Prayer and reading the Bible became a part of my life. I began to look at people differently – as those who have a deeper meaning and value.

Many questions remained, so I looked for answers in books, research, history. Later, I started going to church. There I was able to grow spiritually and serve others.

At the same time, I developed professionally, worked, and built a life. Over time, I had to serve in the Armed Forces and change my place of residence.

But despite all the changes and challenges, I feel that God is leading me, providing for me, and fulfilling me. And this path is one that you can truly rely on.
